Lol, it's not hard. Once you start making money you want to keep more of it. Of course when you have none free stuff sounds great.

Everyone so worried the whole nation is going to turn blue, chill out. These seemingly idiotic kids today will start to become successful and just like my generation, will turn out plenty of Republican voters.

It was the same thing when I was in college (early 2000s).

You learn liberal but you earn conservative.

The media/Hollywood/celebrities may have people snowed but Repubs aren't going anywhere.

See 2016 election.

Yes, this is always what I say, too. And I always get crickets. I always ask my liberal friends how much extra they pay the government, and that when they get their paychecks why aren't they saying, "You know what, the Government didn't take enough!" More crickets.

99.9999% of liberals pay the IRS the least amount legally possible, just like the rest of us. Nobody would pay taxes beyond sales tax if they didn't have to.

I'm a go-getter and also a Bernie supporter. I don't know most people's political affiliation but the 3 big Trump supporters I know have problems showing up for work (chemical dependency issues) and working once they do show up. One of them posted "we can't all ride in the wagon, someone has to pull". It's like they have no self-awareness. They complain about each other being lazy all the time. I also have a friend who is a Trump supporter that I dare say is more of a go-getter than even I am.

It's not how much they are taking it's more a matter of where it's going.

I don't see what Trump supporters have against the middle class. If you're dependent on that state you're getting free healthcare and your kid is going to college for free. If you're rich you're not going to send your kid to a community college or trade school anyway and medical costs aren't even a thing. Why not help the middle class once in a while?

I see what you're saying but disagree with the bolded.

But I live in a very low tax state (47/50 in tax burden) which mitigates it somewhat.

That's not middle class, that's poor people.

Middle class people have decent jobs, 401ks, own homes, and have all kinds of insurance including health.

In other words, there's no way they would want Socialism.

Middle class people are actually Trump supporters for the most part.

I know how the libs throw out the "bc top 1%" garbage, but Trump has done a lot of good for your ordinary average, middle class Americans.
