Youtz. When are we going to start treating young thugs like the predators they are?

This poor guy was minding his own business in Baltimore when he was surrounded by thugs who proceeded to pummel him--and, of course, empty his pockets.

IF they're apprehended, the usual coddling and protection of the "youtz" will start, beginning with the withholding of their names.

The video is disturbing:

Kids will be kids.

I was a pretty wild kid too: riding my bike without a helmet; playing with matches; burning ants with a magnifying glass; head-stomping innocent people. Normal stuff.

Childhood is a precious thing. Let's not get overzealous in condemning kid activities.

You must be a racist. Black people do not commit crimes.

Did you not see that he was "J-walking"? In a Muslim country, that is punishable by death. These kids were just doing their duty and enforcing the law. One of them even looked like Obama's son!

Baltimore has a community principle -Stop sending young afro American men to prison
This is not enforced by the police and judges but by the community that makes up the jury
I understand how they arrived at this decision but it is making it hard to live in Baltimore

I agree. Civic minded individual like those kids can be pushed over the edge when they witness a gross disregard for the law like J-walking. It was just too much for them to take, so they were compelled to enforce the law on the spot. They had no other choice.

It may sound harsh, but unless J-walking is dealt with in this manner, it will become rampant and destroy a community. Thank God for those youths and their devotion to the rule of the law!

The result: Baltimore is now the prison.

Soon these urban areas will be like the movie "Escape from New York"- essentially an isolated community prison.

Maybe we can get Snake Pliskin to go in there are clean things up.

What's with the quotation marks around the word "youths?" I've seen that before on this forum and each time, the youths were black or Latino.

The fact is, they are youths...children under the law. Then again, the US is one of only a handful of countries that tries children as adults with adult sentences and adult jails. There are a lot of supporters of these policies despite the fact that medical science has demonstrated time and again that young brains are not fully developed until the early-20's and that impulsiveness, inability to grasp the consequences of their actions, peer influence, and many other factors mean that young people should NOT be treated like adults, no matter how serious their crimes and how badly a community wants vengeance.

White kids do things like this too, you know. What a strange paradox when young people are not considered mature or responsible enough to drink, vote, smoke, get married, or join the army, but when they commit crimes - even heinous ones - they should be treated and punished like adults.

Bunch of hypocrites. As if you cared for those people at all.

It is simply showing the hypocrisy of the dem party and their concern for illegals while their community goes to hell in a hand basket.

You are right- no one cares about Baltimore, unless they live there. The one who should care is Cummings, who has ignored his constituency for 30 years. He doesn't care either, as long as the paychecks keep rolling in.

Liberalism, in their zeal to make sure that black youths are not sent to prison, have created their own prison in the streets of Baltimore.

Are you telling me that those kids should not be in prison?

Here we go again with the Canadian Morality Force showing up to wag an elegant finger.
