No, the last time it was tried and succeeded was Obamacare. Kent state was a lapse of judgement by a few National Guardsmen.

Nah, no need for a free-for-all. Just shoot the guy in camo with the AK-47 look alike taking potshots at little kids. Probably only one of 'em, then stop shooting.

Many of these nutcases show skill and logic when it comes to these things, even as they pursue the insane path of mass murder.
