With all the talk about how terrible America's cities are lately and how rural America is a shining example of the 'real America', why is rural America in such decline? Why is there so much poverty in the Ozarks and Appalachia? Why does everyone who has the means to want to move to the big city for employment and quality of life? In addition, very few cities are predominantly conservative.

This is just people who watch tv programs such as Friends. Most people do not want to have to look for parking spots and do not want to be around so many strange ethnic restaurants.

Blue states have a huge domestic migration problem. If it weren’t for international migration nearly all of them would have a stagnant or declining population. People are moving to suburbs and growing cities in the south and the west, mostly in low tax purple and red states. Domestic migration trends are not in your favor at all. https://townhall.com/columnists/rach...tates-n2447683

Let us know the answer when you stop complaining about OKC and actually move to a big city yourself.

No one that I know wants to live in a city. In fact, many people I know are buying properties on 3+ acres and building very nice houses on their land.

Kids go to college after high school. Colleges are usually in cities.

Is this breaking news?
