The oil companies might be changing. However, at the end of the day, it boils down to being a partisan. Those persons weren't "duped". They simply listened to what they wanted to hear. No one is "duped". People hear what they want to hear.

I think your chart demonstrates the concern, current temperature increases are not following the previous patterns.
