The Wisconsin state representative, Jimmy Anderson, is confined to a wheelchair, as the result of a dreadful car accident which killed three family members, and left him paralyzed.

He's stated that odd-hour meetings cause a hardship for him because assistants who provide needed personal care might not always be available. Also, he's said that he can't spend long hours in his wheelchair without discomfort.

The Assembly Speaker, Robert Vos, has refused to make an exception to the rule, stating that some legislators have to make a 6-hour drive to attend meetings, and that the requirements were known prior to Anderson becoming a representative in 2017.

Vos is such a dirtbag. If he didn't hold secret last minute meetings to undermine the will of us WI voters this likely wouldn't be an issue in the first place. I hope Anderson wins his lawsuit if it comes to that.
