Sad but definitely humorous.

"President Donald Trump’s unsubstantiated claim on Monday that he “spent a lot of time” with 9/11 first responders at Ground Zero has inspired a side-splitting Twitter series featuring totally fabricated moments of “Lost Trump History.”

One genius came up with ... Trump was first to climb Mt. Everest but was overshadowed by 'Crooked Hillary'. (Of course you have know Sir Edmund Hilary was the first person to actually climb Mt Everest.)

Then I thought that perhaps Trump discovered America in 1492 and was promptly told by the natives to go back where he came from.

Some others from Twitter:

In 2019, astronomer Donald Trump discovered that the Moon was a part of Mars.

Trump painted the Mona Lisa and gave the painting away because she wasn’t his type

Who can forget those famous words uttered by Donald Trump when he stepped onto the surface of the moon? “That’s one small step for me, one giant leap for me.”

Trump built the Great Wall of China and made the Mexicans pay for it

Trump received a Purple Heart for not contracting an STD during Vietnam War.

....

It goes on forever ... some are truly hilarious.

This is so embarrassing.

If only I could wake up from this nightmare.

Ah yes, the old "But Hillary" defense. Because if one person does something, it is negated if anyone else did anything remotely close to the same thing.

"Your honor, sure I robbed a bank. But what about Ted Bundy? He also did bad things. You have to acquit me."

I personally chuckled at the image of him throwing paper, "helping" at Ground Zero.

Also, the "Trump spent as much time at Ground Zero as he did in Vietnam".

Rep to you!!!!!

good as, 'I have just one device"

ISIS is the JV team!

Scrub it, "you mean like with a cloth"

With the call by michelle Obama to rewrite our history, all bets are off as to citing past events.

Just like a good propaganda machine they ignore perspective and context and isolate Trumps words to claim it was a lie. the Literal Division of the propaganda machine is working overtime.

Some people are not as precise as a Harvard lawyer in their speaking style and the OP demonstrates a failure of the media's ability to actually understand anyone except a legally trained professional or graduate journalist.

No, you condone one, while excepting the other?

Typical Trumpling, can't stay on topic if 'dear leader' isn't being (falsely) called the greatest man of all time or even a relatively decent one..

People like Trump with dementia make up stories all the time so please forgive him and their words are usually harmless and...what ??...he is the President of the United States?
