I think Maryanne Williamson, for all her kooky reputation, is sort of like the heart of it all. She reminds us all that we need to have a moral uprising and appeal to decency and the love of all us Americans for each other, to counter the opposite thing that Trump brought to the country (appealing to racism, bigotry, hate, etc.). I think she's right. It's not particular plans and intellectual ideas, although those things are necessary. It's more than that.

Agree about Mayor Pete. I'd vote for him for President, even though he's a bit green, just because he's extraordinary and has good judgment, from what I can tell. But he won't win the nomination.

This isn't Beto's time.

I don't think Delaney did well. With me, anyway.

Ryan...no.

Klobuchar - very good. I hope she gets the VP slot. She'd be perfect.

Hickenlooper & Bullock - Two governors. They have good ideas and, being governors, have more of a sense of knowing what a President can and cannot do. And are moderate. But this is for a primary, so I don't think they can make it.

Sanders did fine. He's not my cup of tea. He's very experienced. He always does okay.
More than that Marianne changes the dynamics of politics. Rather than it being an insider game handled by those most knowledgeable in corporate investment and military policy politics can once again be directed towards the people.

There is more to policy than efficiency, but promoting social health. Small businesses may not be as efficient as big corporations, but they offer society greater connections and stability.

Todays politicians can only see things in utilitarian qualities. That is why we suffer.

All of this nonsense about killing insurance companies is insane. I mean how many people actually benefit from insurance companies through their employers?

She wants to tax "wealth" like an idiot.

I don't care about the wealth distribution, I care about my government spending billions of $ on wasteful nonsense, and sitting their dumb rear ends in DC in congress, the house, and the oval office not doing a gd thing that is even remotely useful.

But $15/hr doesn't make sense in Beverly Hills, CA. They need to raise the minimum wage to at least $100/hr to live there.

Given a choice between Democratic Socialists and the Fascist Nationalists, I think I'll go with the Democratic Socialists. I'm not into tribal hatred and goosestepping.

If they both suck so bad, try voting 3rd party.

I totally missed the debate. When I was done watching a movie about midnight, I switched to a news channel. They were talking about Bernie’s performance, while an image behind them of Bernie, not quite banging his fist on the lecture in front of him, looking very angry. I was thinking, if could hear the sound of his voice, would he be speaking German?

I can’t believe how angry the man is. Try watching him in the debates with the sound off and you will see it. Probably a good idea to watch all debates on either side with the sound off. Usually it doesn’t matter what they say they are going to do anyway, because you know they never will.

Neo-liberalism is far worse than nationalists and socialists.

I have to say I thought Marianne Williamson won the debate. I have no preference for any of the candidates and know little about any of them except Bernie and Warren. Sanders was funny at times and the most entertaining, but clearly way too old. Warren I thought was pretty awful: fake, shrill, angry and concentrated too much on Trump. I thought Mayor Pete was articulate and the sharpest, but too green. Beto and that Montana guy were absolutely awful.
