Last nightís debate was a miserable, joyless affair.

At the end of the day, it comes down to who has the best chance of not just beating Trump. Itís going to take someone who can crush Trump. Who can motivate the masses to get off the couch and put down their phones and vote.

This is no different than which Republican out of a large field had the best chance of beating Hillary in 2016 and Obama in 2012.

It always takes an inspirational street fighter.

There were 2 street fighters at Tuesdayís debate and maybe one at last nightís debate.

I trend moderate and voted for Trump in 2016. A moderate canít beat Trump.

While some stood out, every single one of the debaters over the two nights was better informed with both a better grasp of issues and better policy ideas than Trump. Every one of them.

Warren. I think of all the candidates at this point she is the one with the energy and message to motivate people. She is the real deal when it comes to supporting everyday Americans against the tyranny of the wealthy that is going on across the globe. She actually has ideas and well thought out policy positions as well. The whole package. She will of course face all the "socialist" BS from the GOP, but in the end her message is the one that resonated in 2016 (unless we want to believe it really was the bigotry).

Crooked pollsters?

People buy into polls with outcomes that validate their own perceptions and dismiss those that donít.

ALL polls rely on a small sampling of people willing to disclose information to a stranger. The results are then interpolated across the entire population. The margin of error accounts for those who do not respond/ identify honestly and pollster error.

All but one recognized polling firms predicted Hillary would win the POPULAR vote. The variable was the margin. Kellyanne Conway was a pollster. She was on cable news on the morning of Election Day blaming the GOP for Trumpís likely loss.

I didn't watch the July 30 or 31 debates. after watching the democratic party presidential debates last month and reading the candidates answers to the debate questions the last two days, I know what the democratic party is embracing for 2020: open borders, free healthcare for illegals, student loan payoffs by taxpayers, $1000 a month government stipends, shutting down the fossil fuel industries, "taxing the hell out of the rich", reparations for black citizens, third trimester abortion on demand, government mortgage assistance for black citizens, eliminating private health insurance in favor of government control of healthcare, and all white americans are entitled, racist, and privileged.

What a great platform!

They've also had to shift from

Russia, Russia, Russia which failed miserably.

to

Racist, Racist, Racist which will fail miserably.

If one of the ladies is nominated then they will start using words like Sexist, Birth Control, Equal Pay.

Mayor Pete made a solid point on Tuesday night along the lines of no matter who/ what, the Democrat nominee is going to be labeled a Socialist. Think he got that right.

Itís going to take a revolution to beat and crush Trump.

Who was your street fighter?

I liked;
Steve Bullock in the first debate, but don't know much enough about him yet
Tulsi Gabbard in the second debate she has a strong foreign policy which is what we need right now

Biden/Gabbard I think would be a solid ticket to defeat Trump right now. We'll see after the third debate.

I agree with you, mam. the democrats have to go big (with their socialist revolution) or go home. Is the country ready to elect a socialist....maybe. I doubt young voters, who outnumber boomers, would vote for biden, but they would likely go to the polls enthusiastically for sanders or warren.
