Gavin seems to have one agenda, and that is to one-up President Trump

Now, instead of focusing on California's many many problems, Gavin seems to focus on Trump.

TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP!

Gotta focus on getting Trump's tax statements. Forget about all the people drugged out living homeless. Forget about those who are so mentally ill that it makes our streets unsafe. The most important issue with Gavin is to force President Trump to show his tax returns. What an idiot.

Hey Gavin, focus on the REAL issues ffs!

Assume Trump is re-elected. Four years from now who do you think is going to present themselves as a fresh face of the Democratic party? Gavin Newsome is fairly young for a politician but quite ambitious. At some point he will run for President. Bashing the leader of the opposing party likely helps with fund raising and boosts his national profile.

Now the real question is what hoops are Republicans in Republican controlled states going to start demanding Democrats jump through to get listed in the Democratic primary in their state?

This will likely result in a very expensive law suit that Newsome will lose. And guess who’s paying for it???

Trump, Jr. girlfriend--you mean Kimberly Guilfoyle? That was Newsom's first wife. And didn't she leave him because he was having an affair with her best friend?

Ya, hide your wife around bothersome newsom. He does act like a politician though.

I still think it would be funny if that happened with his opponent (given a marriage, and a Republican party dumb enough to nominate him) being Don Jr. married to Kimberly. One woman, two major party candidates...one being her husband, and the other her ex-husband.

ETA: I should have read past post #2 that I was replying to. Others were already thinking about Don Jr. and Kimberly.

That's going to be a frightful can of worms. I bet Aunt Nancy came up with the idea and passed it on to Gavin. I see how angry Gavin gets when he talks about our president, he doesn't seem in control of his emotions. In fact, I don't think I've noticed that level of emotion before in a public figure. It's unsettling imo.

Gavin Newsom is not going to be a good candidate for President. Brown had much better chance but he also didn’t make it. The rest of the states hate California, as we found out on our vacation trip to Maine.

Please Newbie, can you expand upon that? 1) why is Newsome not a good candidate, and 2) Why did Brown have a better chance? and 3) What and how did you learn that all other states hate us? (lol)
