Trump again claimed China pays the tariffs on goods imported from China.

Technically this is not true at all. Whoevere is importing pays the tax.

But when a media outlet reports that -- it is fake new according to Trump.

Trump is misinformed, twisting the truth (best case scenario we could argue that China has had to lower its prices because importers are paying the tax but China doesn't pay the import tax -- that's not how import taxes work) but he says the media is printing fake news.

That's interesting. Can you give us a link so we can read about it? Better yet, quote the relative parts. I don't have a WaPo account.

Washington Post Says Trump's Favorite Food (Hamburger) Has A "Russia Connection"

Haha. So True. And to think, some of you defend the MSM without thought or question.

The fake outrage over Trump's C'ville comments from liberals TO THIS VERY DAY two years later despite clear evidence in the form of recorded audio and video as well as the actual transcripts of his comments that day prove how shamelessly dishonest the anti-Trump (and anti-Republican for that matter) mainstream media is. There is no lie too blatant and shameless or line they won't cross in order to further their Orange Man Bad narrative. It's why it's hard not to roll your eyes at the absurd (and quite frankly disingenuous) hand wringing by some on this board worried about "normalizing" Trump's "attacks" on a "free" and "open" press. Spare me.

Liberals don't give a s### that conservatives and conservative content are routinely censored on Google, YouTube, Twitter, etc. If liberals truly cared about threats to a free and open press and threats to freedom of speech in general they'd have a problem with the aforementioned company platforms openly censoring those with opposing political viewpoints. If liberals were actually principled like classical liberals used to be and ina few cases still are (Alan Dershowitz for example) they'd be appalled by such censorship even against their political opposition.

The arrogance and disdain these self righteous elitists have for Trump and even more so his supporters is bad enough but they actually believe everyone is stupid and gullible enough to take everything they report at face value. Does the media not know that there are literally dozens and dozens of videos online DIRECTLY contradicting much of the false reporting they do on Trump? Are they so arrogant and isolated away in their tiny ultra liberal East Coast and West Coast echo chambers that they think everyone is too dumb to find documented evidence directly contradicting at least half the fake anti-Trump garbage they try to pass off as "objective journalism"?

Wrong again.

I don't defend or condemn the MSM without MUCH thought or question being taken into consideration.

That's what you are getting confused on. You think because some of us refuse to condemn the MSM for all their reporting we must be defending all their reporting. That's not how it works.

We don't need the President to yell fake news at the MSM when he doesn't like what they report.

Sometimes the pundits twist things -- left and right they do it.

Sometimes they correct Trump and report the facts .

Sometimes they make mistakes.

But they aren't always fake news......

Maybe, but isn't this true?

Doesn't the media mislead people with a narrative?

I'm much further left than you are, but can't you see that?

Fake news exists absolutely.

But he casts anything unflattering as fake news. That is certainly not the case. There is plenty to condemn about Trump just straight from his own tweets. Especially when compared to his old tweets.

I would also urge anyone who says there was “no collusion no obstruction” to actually read the Mueller report. That is not what it says at all.

Until the op can produce some specific examples by the major newspapers I remain in doubt. These gross generalities don’t hold any meaning.
