All three of those sources are shown in the chart to be partly on the "skews liberal" side. CNN is also shown as straddling between the "opinion: fair persuasion" and "opinion: unfair persuasion" categories.

It's no surprise to most here that currently I'm a Trump supporter, because trade with China and competitive corporate tax rates are a huge deal to me as well as SECURING our borders better....not necessarily a wall but what we have now is a sieve.
As a worker, I still support the lower corporate tax rates because I live in a state and town where I've seen the effects first hand of the factories and mills closing only to be replaced with low paying service jobs while housing has skyrocketed. Not only that, but the imported items that replaced what was made here have been poorer in quality and made in far dirtier/polluting plants then shipped by container ship half way around the world. For the first time we are seeing a resurgence, several lumber mills re-opened and are cranking around the clock. More machine and fab shops have reopened and are busy, and obviously their workers are busy instead of being on unemployment and food stamps. Income tax payments are at record levels despite the reduction of personal income tax rates....it's just the beginning, and of course it's pi$$ing off the people and corporations that have fattened themselves being middle men for all this Chinese junk, but we as a nation can't continue to bleed the trillions of $$$$$$ in trade deficit anymore. Unless you fall into the bold category above or are some socialist control freak that wants all your minions in poverty under you, I don't see why you would want anything any different?
I'm disgusted with the spin media puts on everything and it's very obvious to me. I want REAL poll numbers, real information, and articles with real facts so I can glean the real story from it.....not some news article that's titled "Trump sucks his trade policies hurt business" and then cites in the article how one Chinese middle man business in Ohio may have to close while manufacturing has re-opened at half a dozen other facilities offering many more jobs.
Right now C-D and BBC offer the best platforms from which the decipher some real news....the rest is just crap.

The explanation is simple: Trump recognizes the power of the Press as a potential threat, so he constantly tries to diminish their influence.

But at the time the media reported the story -- he didn't - -he wouldn't.

The article you posted is an op ed piece.

And yes - Don Lemon, Rachel Maddow still are critical of Trump -- but they aren't news journalists.

and talk about fake news. The critics of Trump's attack on Cunningham was not about him 'telling the truth' about Baltimore...that's the fake news spin that is now being spun to divert from his perceived racist statements of 'go back'.

That's why the media -- not the news journalists -- fight back and spend time going after him.

He didn't at the time because he wrongly assumed the media wouldn't intentionally take his initial comments completely of context and cast them in the worst possible light. A reasonable person if confused by his comments would ask for clarification which he provided in a follow up presser. Those wanting to take the comments and cast the comments in the worst possible light to inflict maximum damage aren't interested in clarification or context to find out the exact point he was trying to make which is what honest journalists typically do. It wasn't only white supremacist groups and Antifa for example in Charlottesville. There were average conservatives who objected to and were peacefully protesting a historic statue being removed while there were peaceful liberal protesters protesting in support of the statues removal...hence the "some good people on both sides" comment from Trump. I know many people think Trump is a complete idiot but even in the remote chance that he IS actually a fascist nazi racist as many suggest he is he's not dumb enough to say something so outrageous as to refer to neo-nazis as "fine people".

As for Trump's comments towards Cummings regarding Baltimore, there were no racial connotations anywhere in his comments. Now if liberals and other critics of Trump would attack the comments on the basis that they're childish, unnecessarily mean spirited, unfair, or best of all completely false, I'd respect that argument and approach. Inventing "racism" in situations where race isn't mentioned and isn't a factor is an incredibly tired and lame claim used when someone can't defend a position or make a counter argument with logic and facts.

Btw, it's ironic that you've insinuated that I haven't provided a link showing a media story where someone quoted Trump as saying he said "neo-nazis are fine people" when you and others who do nonchalantly call Trump's squad comments and Baltimore comments "racist" without providing a link to the specific racist thing he said in those tweets.

Only dumb asses believe a politician these days without thought or question.

CNN has its issues, filling the 24/7 airwaves with a bunch of opinion nonsense. But I would still give them the benefit of the doubt over any politician in an actual news piece.

almost true, it is the lies about Trump the the liberal MSM pushes onto the public is the reality, they repeat the nonsense 24/7 ion their political roundtables and guests. There is plenty of evidence out there to support exactly this happens for anyone to research themselves... but so many liberals are sheep and will continue to believe the lies about Trump instead of opening their eyes and getting informed or "woke" as the kids today call it, i think.
