You guessed it. Craft beer - like baseball, winter sports, national parks, dog walking, Northern New England, etc., etc. - is racist.

Quote:
Sadly, what counts as diversity in this industry is the clean-shaven minority mixing with the bearded majority.
It can be jaw-dropping to see how monochromatic its consumers are: Of craft beer and hard cider drinkers, whites account for 77 percent of the market, while Hispanics are 10.6 percent, blacks constitute 5.4 percent, and Asians are 5.1 percent, according to new data from the consumer insights firm MRI-Simmons.
If white people tend to like, do, or contribute to something more than others, well, that means exclusion and white supremacy. No other evidence is needed.

Yeah, read this last week and laughed. I could not comprehend how low liberals have sunk with their social justice garbage. This is your answer.

He's only writing what his base wants to hear. Another fool that will convinces other fools that what he preaches is golden.

There's a big difference between saying that x is racist, and that x should try and attract more people of color. Only the latter is being argued for craft beer. If craft beer was "racist" as you claim, then the entire article would make no sense as its goal is to increase its appeal to people of color.

I was being facetious. No, the writer does not literally say, "craft beer is racist". But she does describe all the ways that she thinks the industry is racially problematic.

I agree this is ridiculous, but it's not going to change my mind about the Republican Party.

You guys do get that this is like hoax hate crimes, right? Since whites aren't actively doing things to exclude minorities, haters have to make stuff up.

If there were real incidents, they'd be writing about them.
