They claim it is only due to currency fluctuations and increased competition, but we all know better right?

Besides, maybe the competition wouldn't be doing so well if Gillette wasn't trying so hard to alienate it's prime user demographic.

Initially I thought what about the tariffs? Shirley they must be impacting its bottom line.
Turns out the razor blade co's got exemptions (good for them and anyone who shaves)
https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/10/busin...ion/index.html

But alas it turns out trying to appeal to the man bunned hairy armpit baby faced non-shaving woke crowd was a bad PR move.

Yeah most of them have beards anyway...I suppose they were counting on those men to start shaving their legs?

Yeah there is that too.
Its as if someone said "Lets abandon our customers in appeal to those who will never buy our product anyway"

Shaving is down across the board as facial hair is now accepted just about everywhere.

Not surprising. I'm fairly middle of the road. I don't care what politics a company holds. But I'm completely over the public virtue signaling. Let products just stand on their own.

I used to buy Gillette razors and shave gel, exclusively. I now use Harry's razors.

I only used Gillette, as I like US companies, but stopped using them when they became left wing.

You really think men stopped buying razors over a commercial?

Price always wins and these new subscription companies are seriously undercutting the old biz model.

It’s like blaming a blockbuster commercial for their demise.
