Democratic Presidential candidates took center stage this week as two nights of debates gave Americans their first opportunity to view the party frontrunners go head-to-head over the country's most contentious topics.

With political pundits deliberating which of the candidates came out on top in the first round of debates, sportsbooks have declared President Donald Trump the big winner and have improved his reelection odds to reflect this.

Donald Trump's odds to win the 2020 Presidential election moved up to -110 just after the debates conclusion, giving him his best numbers since his initial election in 2016.

Someone just take his phone away and let the Dem party implode on its own...

Yeah I was thinking the exact same thing as the "debate" went on. Just more regurgitated talking points from the loudest in the room about promising free healthcare for everyone (including illegals), letting anyone and everyone in without question (contrary to almost every single other country out there), etc.

it was a sad competition for who could use the tired term 'racism' the most.

How Many Times Can You Say Racism In A Debate?

Way too early to say. Most people outside of the political junkies aren't paying all that much attention yet, and probably won't until the field is whittled down a bit. I'm a junkie, but I didn't even watch last night's debate, opting to watch the Cubs instead. (In hindsight, maybe I should have watched the debate. )

I'm content to allow the process to move forward. When we have a candidate, or at least a smaller field, and when the Democrats start to firm up their platform, is when it will get interesting. Right now there's too much noise to make any declarations one way or another.
