450 farms have closed so far this year in Wisconsin. So the tariffs have had some effect. Thankfully a lot of the farmers around here in the Driftless Area see through Trumps/Republican lies and vote blue.

I love how it's called "aid" when it's going to farmers but "welfare" or "handouts" when it's going to urban areas.
Farmers can pretend they're different than the disability drawing welfare recipient in Kentucky or the single mother in urban Memphis but they're not.
More of that wealth redistribution conservatives are always railing against.

I don't see any support for this being due to tariffs or what "some" effect might mean.
The government in pouring in billions of dollars in bailouts to keep them in business. We are looking at over $30 billion so far, and who knows how much more unannounced.
