That kind of long term societal oppression is tough to break free of. But the times, they are a changing.
Couldn't say it better myself.

It goes back even farther than that. Since the dawn of time males have dominated females in most of the creatures on Earth. If we had a massive change and 99% of all humans perished, man would dominate again. I am not saying that because it is 'right' or 'fair' but IMO.

Not just the state of pregnancy itself.

Female physiology and neurobiology are uniformly optimized towards gestation and child-rearing.

This puts them at an intractable disadvantage to men in almost all areas if a population becomes depraved enough to counterpose the genders competitively. For example, by indoctrinating women into thinking they are something they are not.

No amount of social engineering will change these basic properties, or mitigate the harm that stems from trying to undo them.

I wonder about this kind of comment. Does that make males' physiology and neuro-biology uniformly optimized towards being dicks?

I'm sorry you feel that way about men. But no amount of weeping and gnashing of teeth will change basic biology.

I don't. But evo-psych and the conflation of causation of every thing about the human experience to biology is just stupid,

Cavemen were physically stronger. Unfortunately, a lot of cavemen still exist in 2019.

I don't believe in evolutionary psychology and I'm not a biological reductionist, so neither of your criticisms really work here.

Neither comparative biology nor reductionism are necessary to point out the physiological differences between men and women.
