Rich business owners don't hire manual laborers themselves. After that illegal woman got fired (she used fake or stolen documents to gain employment) Trump has been using e-verify on all of his properties.
Big business tends to voluntarily use eVerify.

Small business and households are the primary employers of undocumented people. Cash is king.

Trump claimed on the campaign trail all his businesses used eVerify because it works. He probably believed it. Guess it never dawned on the family to make certain.

Trump Org employed many undocumented people at multiple properties. Canít imagine Trump was aware. Nonetheless, people on staff were aware and exploited the undocumented workers. They knowingly withheld names of undocumented people from the FBI for vetting purposes. Reportedly, the IDs used by these undocumented workers were obvious fakes. Some worked for Trump Org 5-20 years.

Eric Trump, responsible for the day to day operations of all Trump Org country club properties tried to weasel out by saying they did not eVerify because the states did not require them to. The huge disconnect between Trumpís rhetoric and lax employment practices within Trump Org was obvious to the most casual observer.

Why is it that Trump wasn't charged for doing the same thing at Mar A Lago?

Well then I guess you'll have no problem detailing how many illegal workers along with those who hired them from Trump golf properties are being prosecuted, right?

Because it was never proven that he "knowingly" had any illegals working for him, that's why. Geezus, how many times does this have to be repeated?

I wish they'd release the video feed from the raid. I'd love to see Bin Laden being taken out. Now that would be some good entertainment worth watching! BTW - which one in the room is supposed to be the President of the United States? Looks like Obama's just a water boy on the sidelines.

Slaughterhouse owner who used illegal immigrants sentenced to 18 months in federal prison

The owner of a Bean Station slaughterhouse who admitted paying illegal immigrants in cash for years to avoid federal payroll obligations was sentenced Wednesday to 18 months in federal prison.

James Brantley pleaded guilty last year in U.S. District Court in Greeneville to counts of failing to collect and pay federal employment taxes, wire fraud and hiring unauthorized aliens.

...
He had already paid restitution to the U.S. government totaling $1,423,588 for years in which he failed to pay employment and workers compensation taxes for his employees.

...
The judge also praised Brantley for helping the government by providing background information on the case and by providing information that helped in the prosecution of two employees who recruited and hired undocumented workers to work at the slaughterhouse.

...
When pressed by the judge, Brantley said about 75 percent of his 100 or so employees were illegal residents on the day federal authorities raided it in April 2018.

Woot woot ! time employers pay for causing 85% of the problem .

Good but until this is done across the board, it’s just a show.

Will they do the same for the company that hired Melania when she was on a visitor’s visa? Doubt it.
