I saw a fitting quote today: "I'm glad Obama killed Osama Bin Laden or Trump would've tried to make friends with him by now."

It really is amazing how many despots, dictators, mass murderers and terrorists Trump has become friendly with as president. America doesn't know its enemies from its friends, anymore, just as his supporters don't know fantasy from reality.

Afghanistan Is Latest Dud for Dealmaker Trump
https://news.yahoo.com/afghanistan-l...095905264.html
Donald Trump touted himself as the man who could broker the big deals for the U.S. when he ran for president three years ago.

Yet, as Nick Wadhams, Glen Carey and Jennifer Jacobs explain, his love of grand personal gestures has fallen short with North Korea, China, the Middle East, and now Afghanistan.

I believe history will repeat it's self. The Taliban will be more than happy to sign a treaty, they will use the time to strengthen there forces, wait until the American's are gone. They will relaunch there offensives and take over the rest of Afghanistan. Without the threat of American Air support to obliterate concentrations of Talban troops, will make an Talban's offensive far easier. Once they consolidate there power they will be in the position to launch new terrorist attacks world wide.
The Taliban have never shown any interest in launching terrorist attacks worldwide. Their interest is focused within Afghanistan.

You have the Taliban confused with Al Qaeda, ISIS, and similar Wahhabi groups supported by Saudi Arabia. Islamic terrorism in the West is spawned by Saudi Arabia. All of it.

To be fair this is a tough negotiation for anyone, I don't think Trump has the ability.

The Taliban are terrorists, regardless of where they conduct their activities. Obama would've immediately lost 30 points or more of support if he had done the same, but here you are saying terrorists aren't terrorists to protect Trump. Incredible.

Who cares what they are and why they are, tossing a label on something does not mean a damn thing really, even the NRA has been labeled as a "terrorist organization" by San Francisco, lol.

LOL, I'm in no way trying to protect Trump.

But I do believe in cutting the BS and distinguishing real threats from somebody's bogeyman.

There are lots of terrorists in the world. The US doesn't need to deal with everyone's terrorists.
