What's the "solution" that doesn't involve a gun to my head?

Step one is acknowledging that there is a problem, then we can start working on solutions before it is too late. But, if we keep putting our heads in the sand...........

Less of a gun to your head and more of a suggestion that maybe we should do something together for all our futures otherwise our future as a species is kaput..
As of now I'd say there's less off a solution and more of damage control.
So yeah, you like your money, I get it,but like it or not, if I told you our ship is gonna sink, we all got to put in work/resources to make sure it doesn't for all our sake. You like a stable future I get it, but you decide to horde it all, your not gonna have it, nor will your kids or their kids.

I am allowed to (possibly...because I don't think that's what I'm doing) put a gun to my own head. I own myself.
You can't put a gun to my head. You don't own me.
Like every "problem" a morally and logically sound solution is necessary for me to even consider it.
Are you willing to try capitalism (the real kind...no State) to see if your ideas can modify my behavior without threatening me or are you going to put a gun to my head?

You could modify my behavior if you incentivize me in the proper way. I don't even have to acknowledge your "problem". Again, this would require a willingness to respect my free will with me reciprocating but it's the only way that doesn't involve violence.
