This is good news.

I have a question though. So the deal is no hormones in the beef. That would require ranchers to have been anticipating this and have existing inventory have no hormones...do you think that happened?

And -- if not -- how long before they can get hormone free beef to the EU in numbers significant enough to make a difference in international trade.
It does sound like another of Trump's grandiose exaggerations after looking at that.

Nor should they. It is one reason they are healthier than we are, they donít allow the crap in their food that the US does. I wish the American consumer was better informed on how bad some of our food is. Manufactured to do only one thing and that is to make as much money as possible regardless of the health consequences for the consumer. Meanwhile the beef and dairy industry is trying to tell us we canít call plant based option veggie burger or almond milk.

Agree with Waldo, Trump is negotiating and doing business, not "Kowtowing" to other countries that we also happen to buy much more stuff from, than they buy from us.
Who are you trying to kid?

Trump is "kowtowing" to Russia.

Trump is "kowtowing" to North Korea.

Trump is "kowtowing" to Saudi Arabia.

So it's not approved by European Parliament yet? That's kinda like proclaiming NAFTA 2.0 a win, as it sits without approval.

No, that's not it. Trump is still negotiating with the EU, so he wouldn't give up what he thinks is his main leverage. There was more to the deal.

He joked IN the meeting about imposing vehicle tariffs, and said they are not off the table. He is not giving up his only weapon. He doesn't know how to negotiate, he knows how to threaten.

The silliness is that BMW has a big plant here so would not be subject to tariffs anyways.
