The US is the ONLY nation that has EVER used nukes against an enemy during war, and it happened twice!!!

If this were any other country, the rest of the world would be demanding that such a nation not be permitted to have nukes AT ALL!!!

This to me is a deal breaker... it's like having a gun and pledging you will never shoot unless you get shot first. Why do we need to see NYC blown up before we can protect ourselves?

.

Great Warrior Warren also said she was Native American.

The real answer is it doesn't matter since it is non-binding and first use poses high risk of uncontrolled escalation.

If the US were to ever be involved in a nuclear war with one of Russia or China, indications are that the US will strike against both based on past close call incidents where orders were to launch against both. They may go farther and attack in addition whomever they fear will become a regional superpower.

If NYC gets blown up it’ll be by individuals, not a state therefore won’t be anyone to nuke in retaliation.

Let's see. Nuke "first strike" targets would be NYC and Washington DC. Nothing else makes sense.

So Pocahontas says she wants to sacrifice one of those cities before she'd use a nuke.

One more time. Pocahontas wants to sacrifice New York City & Washington DC, before she'd consider using a nuke.

From time of launch in Russia to hit NYC, 30 min...

So.. The US says it will not launch first.
IF Russia, Iran, China, NK launches... 5 min later, the US has launched its missiles in return.

So, what is gained by waiting 5 or 10 min? They will be obliterated anyhow.

By saying the US will not attack first, the world pressure is on the "third party country" to go out and say the same thing.

Has no one explained to her she’ll be target #1 and won’t have a chance to send one back.
