I really wouldn't expect an answer. In fact, lack of an answer likely means being in agreement with children emulating Trump. That's just how I see it.

There hasn’t been a President I wanted my children to emulate in more than two decades. Pretty sure Clinton was the end of “presidential behavior is good.”

I try to reconcile all you explain here with much along the same lines that explains the inexplicable case of Trump becoming POTUS. Probably because so many people didn't vote for all manner of wrong reasons...
