I thought about somethingt this morning. Louisiana is one of the most corrupt states in the USA.

This happened in Louisiana's imfamous Angola prison.

Louisiana is one of the worst-ran states in the USA.

Louisiana is one of the poorest states in the USA. 1/5 of Louisiana's population lives below the poverty line.

Louisiana also ranks very high in violent crime. The most violent state in the USA. Louisiana ranks #1 in America for murder, and has held this rank for 30 straight years.

Something about the high levels of pollution in Louisiana.

I bring all of this up for a reason. President Trump referred to California as a national disgrace. His comments were uncalled for in my opinion. However, I look at the metrics for Louisiana. Louisiana is one of the poorest, most violent, and corrupt states in America. And Louisiana is not a liberal state. President Trump received 58% of the vote in Louisiana. Louisiana has had several Republican governors over the last 40 years. It isn't some state that is wholesale Democratic Party-ran like California. I don't see President Trump referring to Louisiana as a disgrace. I won't call it a disgrace either. However, Louisiana is not in the best of shape. When companies leave California, they move to Texas, not Louisiana.

California has alot of problems. No doubt. Many people leave California for a reason. However, there are states worse off than California. Louisiana has many, many problems and I don't see Trump calling Louisiana, with all of its corruption, violent crime, poverty, and pollution, a disgrace.

That's because the Governor of Louisiana didn't sign a law that hurts his 'widwl feewings', and the Governor of California did .

Why? The number of votes he got in California don’t matter. All of their electoral votes went to Clinton. It isn’t like Trump being nice to California is going to convince the rabid leftists in the Bay Area to vote for him. The Californians who did vote for him know their state is a train wreck, that’s why they voted for the non Democrat. They probably aren’t surprised or offended that he pointed it out.

Trump has more guts than many of the presidents we have had in decades , especially with all the false rhetoric being thrown at him relentlessly .
Secondly look at all the criminals in government being dealt with that had not been touched in the last 3 administrations.
You cannot not honestly say Trump is a weak president ,His life is more at risk then Kennedy ever was .
The mandate on the left to break this country down to a third world isn't going to help things ,they will only get much worse than you can imagine . Take a good long look at Venezuela .This is the level of corruption Obama and Hilary were hoping for.
and you want this for your future and your children's future ?
It's not guts, it's that he's thin-skinned and insecure and can't keep himself from reacting to nearly every little thing, like a baby or a toddler.

People in other countries see this. The 'Trump baby blimp' (with Trump in a diaper holding a phone) didn't emanate from the U.S.

In the 80s, Graydon Carter (who was later the editor of Vanity Fair magazine for over 20 years) called Trump a 'short-fingered vulgarian' in a magazine article. Over 25 years later Trump was still sending Carter pictures of himself with his fingers circled.

Trump calling California a disgrace is just a reaction to the law that Newsom signed, which hurts Trump's little feelings.

Trump doesn't truly think California is a disgrace.

If he did he would prove it/put his money where his mouth is and at least attempt to sell the Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles, but he hasn't.

Californians who voted for him are still acquiescing to their state and local tax dollars going towards lots of things that they don't believe in. If those expenditures bothered them enough, they would vote with their feet and leave California.

ETA: Additionally, some voting for Trump in California aren't voting for the non Democrat primarily because they think the state is a train wreck, they are doing so for cultural reasons like the potential appointment of SCOTUS justices who will vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.

LOL, I would expect someone to say that. There are people who hate California so much they are looking for every chance to bash it, or at the very least, give excuses for Louisiana's issues.

Please elaborate. I was not aware of this accomplishment.

I have seen the lists of "accomplishments" that are attributed to him by various supporters. Not impressed. Much of these so-called accomplishments have nothing to do with him.

Some folks are too worried about what a person says rather than what a person does. I don't really give a damn what Trump says. Talk is cheap and anyone can tell you anything you want to hear. What I care about is how his policies and actions are affecting me (and the citizenry in general). In my opinion, thus far only good things have happened as opposed to the bad things that happened in the previous eight years--bad things such as the reinstatement of slavery, which Trump reversed. By the way, if you want to see "disgraceful, crude, low-class behavior," go watch some of the left-wing meltdowns on Youtube. They are real gems.
There's no reason he can't do both (stay the same policy wise and conduct himself in a dignified manner), unless he is incapable of doing so.

I imagine you probably couldn't care less what others think, but I think it's sad that, re the President, you only care about policy, and not how he behaves.
