provide a quote where he insults Democrat voters when it wasn't in response to one of them insulting him, similar to Obama's bitter cling sneer about conservative voters.

He insults Democrats nearly every single time he mentions them.

Here's a list of 598 people, places, and things he has insulted (on Twitter alone).

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...r-insults.html

He's even insulted members of his own administration who have NOT turned on him.

How convenient for you to leave out the fact that most whom Trump has insulted was a retaliation to those who insulted him first. Typical liberal spin and twisting of the facts though.

It would be difficult to find a quote in which he DIDN'T insult Democrat voters.

It would be equally difficult to find where Trump wasn't insulted by them first. What part of that haven't you gotten yet?

The irony is this. The current governor of Louisiana is a Democrat. However, it's had Republican governors in the past. Louisiana still remains very low in terms of quality of life. I've been to Louisiana and I have relatives there. It has its issues. It's also a politically polarized state. Blacks (who make up 32% of the population) vote Democratic in high numbers, while Whites (62% of the population) are far more likely to vote Republican, in Presidential elections.

Awww, is his little feewings hurt? The Birfer-in-Chief feels unfairly maligned?

Dear Lord. You have to go back to 2008 to come up with a counterexample? Amd - by the way - the statement in context was bang-on. Let's bask in someone speaking in full sentences, shall we:

Quote:
You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
That's Trumpism defined right there.

The thing is, many individuals feel resentment and emnity for Democrats. In their minds, Trump is saying what they want him to say. This is why it's rare to see many Trump supporters call Trump out.
