Okay, I heard 10 shots really fast, loud from a rifle maybe? What kind of gun shoots off 10 rounds so fast? Serious question. I do not own a gun.

PS: I am pro-gun for responsible gun owners.

Even with carrying most of the victims were shot outside leaving the store with their carts taken by surprise. Many were housewives shopping. Just because it’s Texas doesn’t mean every single customer is carrying and ready to fire at a seconds notice.

These poor people. Another ordinary day turned into a tragedy.

I disagree. We have too many people with mental issues who have access to guns. Virginia Tech and the Century theater shootings should have never happened if the Mental Health act Ronnie repealed wasn't.

Seriously, if there was a solution to this things would be done.
There is a solution. Eliminate easy access to guns. Surprisingly (sarcasm) gun deaths are rare in countries that regulate and don't have our loose gun laws.

with all the talk of the 2nd amendment people and such i thought it worth posting that to prove times were different i will point out that in colonial times what we call a police force was non-existent
[COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.95)] The first publicly funded, organized police force with officers on duty full-time was created in Boston in 1838.

Tell that the Great Britain or Australia which both have rather strict gun laws and few mass shootings.

Indeed. I have trained unit-against-armed-perpetrator scenarios with European law enforcement (long story).

In the first exercise scenario - with smart, trained, uniformed and briefed people who aren't afraid of their lives - things invariably go banana-shaped in seconds. You could video it and use Yakety Sax as the soundtrack. It's really damn difficult to carry off.
