Damn, but that is tricky. Perhaps the sentence that literally begins with "This attack is a response to" may provide some insight?
Or, if we want to expand a bit: "This attack is a response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas. They are the instigators, not me. I am simply defending my country from cultural and ethnic replacement brought on by an invasion."
Or you could even read the "Reaction" paragraph where he describes his planned-for outcome: That of Hispanics leaving. His terrorist attack is supposed to provide "incentive" for Hispanics to leave and bring the supposedly pro-immigration corporations to heel.
Sorry, I got my threads mixed up a bit and thought I was being attacked in one that I started as OP. It is an amazing thing getting old. I deleted the response to the poster I thought was attacking me.
I think you are wrong about his reasons. But, I am unable to look into the mind of a madman. I think he associates the immigration of Hispanics with more population and that deep inside he feels the world is destroying itself due to too many people. But I have no interest in debating his reasons as no reason is justification for what he did.

And if I go into a movie theater and yell "fire" and cause a stampede and a bunch of people get trampled, I'm not one bit a fault either? That is not the way the law works. Trump absolutely is liable, for the violence that he provokes. He just doesn't care.

Never heard of Mike Broomhead or iHeart Radio. The El Paso shooter was indoctrinated by Trump’s vicious, hateful rhetoric against El Paso and Mexicans.
