I just want to quote you to make sure everyone sees this .

The poster I quoted above is accusing the El Paso Police Chief of lying and being "fake news."

Look, I get that many conservatives on here are not very happy to learn that this shooting was yet another far-right white supremacist nut job. I get that it does not fit your agenda, so you don't like it.

But for someone to accuse a Police Chief in the situation he's in today of being fake news...it's not good for one's credibility and may severely hurt the chances of anyone taking you seriously LOL.

The ability of the pro-gun experts on CD is legendary.
Most of these by far happen in gun free zones/liberal hell holes. Surely banning all guns will stop these violent assaults. More gun free zones? You’re the expert here. Solve this.

Unless he gets killed by other prisoners (a distinct possibility), he will be alive a lot longer than two years even if sentenced to death. He probably won’t even get his trial until he’s 23.

I'm sure there were a few.

I can speak with my own perspective because I am a NY state unrestricted pistol licence holder. I regularly carry to Walmart when I shop there. If I was there in a similar situation (under ny law, since I don't know tx law) I would be only focused on protecting my family as I made my way to guide them to a safe escape and only engage the shooter if no other option.

If I'm with my family I'm not looking for a confrontation. Especially when in NY I am significantly under gunned we can't have mags more than 10 rounds, and if anything goes wrong it's my butt on the line. I open myself up to law suits, jail time, overzealous district attorneys, civil litigation, financial distress etc.

Getting really sick and tired of white male rage.

If you're so mad, how about killing yourself rather than other people?

Also, where were all of those good guys with guns to stop the shooter? This was TX.

Small mercies.
Nope. Because "good guy with a gun" does happen.

I wonder why no one carried on and on about this particular story last year:

A suspect who injured multiple people while trying to steal their vehicles was fatally shot by an armed civilian in a Walmart parking lot in Tumwater...

...An armed civilian is credited with saving several lives when he stopped a man firing shots at a Walmart in Tumwater, Washington on Sunday...

..."He is a hero. This (suspect) could have taken out more people, wounded or killed," witness Brian Adams said. "(The suspect) hijacks a car apparently to get here, then hijacks another car. If this customer hadn't done what he did.... Yeah, he's a hero."
The date: June 17, 2018

This was posted a few pages back from your post. Perhaps you glossed over it?

This is not the only "good guy with a gun stops a shooting" story, so no, it will not be "consigned to the trash heap" because it doesn't belong there no matter how much you wish it did.
