He said that to isolate Trump from blame. WHY would he do that? The answer is simple - to try protect Trump from the blame.

But Trump IS to blame. He sets the tone - and he has done so REPEATEDLY.

I'm not saying I am not above this in the past, but for the sake of argument, how exactly is it helpful to blame one party or the other or the right or the left, etc. etc. From the little I know about him, I don't know if he was a supporter of any political party or candidate. But let's see he was, in this case, a card carrying Trump guy. What does that prove? I mean, maybe I hit my head recently, but since there are only two major parties in America rihgt now and a few of them have any legitimate shot to be president, why does any of that matter except to make those who follow the other party or another candidate to ffeel better about themselves.

It matters because the PRESIDENT (or even ANY candidate for ANY office) should NOT be inciting violence as Trump has done REPEATEDLY.

People LISTEN to what a President says - and his words MATTER.

Stupid comparison since Eric Garner resisted arrest. If he’d been cooperative, he’d be alive today and probably home enjoying his Saturday evening right now. That’s not to excuse the way the police handled it, but resisting arrest never ends well.
