The right wing part I'm not quite seeing as this guy was worried about the environment, against big corporations, and wanted universal healthcare and UBI. I'm not seeing a lot of right wingers push for these things. He did seem like a nationalist.
We are not talking elsewhere. We are talking in the US of A.

I’d do the same thing, of course I don’t have that kinda cash she was looking for, but I don’t claim to be religious, anyone thinking Trump is, is full of crap.

The same country that effectively has open borders and any Tom, D-ck and Harry can just waltz their little way in? A "country" that anyone on the planet can walk right into?

I don't think so.

It is an extremely chaotic situation with so many unknowns.

I don't know how many or who are active shooters.

Cops don't know who I am.

Others don't know who I am.

I don't want to accidentally shoot an innocent and have to live with that the rest of my life.

Several licensed owners have explained in this very thread. It's stupid to play hero.... You will either are lucky or dead.... Not good chances. It's stupidity to think otherwise.
Only in the US are guns are for "personal protection and safety." I live in Canada and here guns are for hunting. I gave up hunting many years ago, got rid of my guns and feel perfectly safe.... Did you know that the USA is less than 5% of the world population, yet it's citizens own more than 40% of the guns?.....Therein lies the problem.

This isn't a country and it hasn't been one in 40 years.

There are 30 million foreigners wandering around.

What "country" has 30 million invaders wandering about?

America was a nice concept...until globalism/liberalism got a hold of it.

It's toast now. So, no, you can not have our weapons. It is all we have left in this sinking ship.

I didn't say anything about why he shot anyone. I'm just responding to things people make up that are not factual. If someone says he is pro-Trump, that's not the same as them saying that the manifesto says he is pro-Trump. You can read the manifesto.

My comment about his environmental views was to show how people try to cherry-pick the shooter's beliefs to make it support their agenda. They would like to paint him into the pro-Trump fanatic that would make the other side of the political spectrum evil, while ignoring the parts of his beliefs that don't agree with this view. That's just being dishonest.

The guy is a racist and a nationalist. He wanted to stop immigration and divide the country up into territories based on race. He says he did the shooting to deter immigration from Hispanic countries. Part of his belief was that you had to reduce the population of the U.S., and institute universal healthcare and UBI due to the automation of jobs leaving much of the U.S. population without employment. Sounds like some of the things Yang says, but it would be nuts to blame his ideas on Yang and say that Yang helped to inspire this violence due to his ideas on automation and UBI. I'm sure if Yang were president, there would be right-wing nutjobs trying to do just that. Near the end of the manifesto he says that all of his ideas predate Trump.

I'm not sure how people are just making up stuff to support the beliefs they have. I don't see where Trump advocated others to commit armed violence against nonwhites. When Obama was in office, I would see the right make up some of the same silly stuff against Obama. It was ridiculous to make up things about Obama and it is equally ridiculous to do it to Trump.

I'm not sure how people don't see the hypocrisy.

That isn't even close to being true.

That's great, I fully support your right to sell guns and still feel safe.

Does it happen sometimes like that? Yeah, on a few occasions. Mostly though the civilians with a guy run just like everyone else and their having a gun doesn't make a bit of difference to the outcome.

When faced with such a situation most people run - even those with their own gun. That's just reality - and in all honesty probably the smart thing to do - let those TRAINED to deal with it, DEAL with it.

Ken
That makes them fakes and poseurs but let's not start claiming that gun owners including CHL holders are cowards like you post....
