Didn't he actually say El Paso is a safe city but used to be unsafe before a wall was built.

I was thinking the same thing. They should have put the hammer down but I know they are trying to analyze these kooks to see if they can find out why they are broken and hopefully see the next one before it happens.

It actually could be genetic. Some people don't seem to have a self preservation type of reasoning.

Beto's democratic candidacy is in jeopardy regardless. That's probably why he is making such a huge deal out of this. Kind of a last push, all in, to garner some support. I don't think this will work. Its sad that politicians can't take a moment to grieve and allow others to grieve before they politicize such a tragedy.

Reason #13 why i despise Politicians!

Exactly right, and in fact, if he had any respect for the victim's families, he would not go to El Paso because he would realize how they feel about his past hate-filled, degrading rhetoric about Hispanics at his past ridiculous rallies. This just proves he is still a bully. Donald feels entitled to touch people in places where they do not want to be touched. That is all we need to know about the cretin.

I think talking about mental health issues with the shooter in El Paso is dismissing the white supremacy.

Dayton we still don't know what the motive was.

El Paso shooter is a terrorist. We can claim all terrorist have mental health issues but first and foremost he was a terrorist and should be treated as such.

Exactly, that’s why the Mayor of El Paso is getting angry emails from Democratic politicians. Obama went to mass shooting sites, no different. This was an act of a mentally ill lowlife, just like most of the high profile shootings, but som Dems are using it to score political points. Truly disgusting.

Of course they are. They started it minutes after it hit the news.

Rahm Emanuel stated it quite nicely:

"You never want a serious crisis to go to waste."

Well then it is very lucky for him that there is no significance to the fact that it was once part of Mexico.
It is not part of Mexico now. Hasn’t been for 180 years and the fact that it once was, has no relevance to anything.

What an odd statement.
