Of course it's not Trump's fault. Doesn't mean this nut should have been anywhere near a gun, much less an AK-47.

There's no other way, folks. It's time to leave the barbarism of the gun culture behind.

#Thoughts and Prayers that criminals are going to not shoot people because of anti-gun laws.

Killing people is illegal but if you just pass another anti-gun law, there will be no shootings. Criminals gonna comply with those laws.

Nazi rallies? Really? As someone with many Jewish friends, I find it extremely offensive that would describe Trumps rallies as such.

America and Americans first. And ALL immigrants need to learn and speak English. And DACAs should be made to return to the native country and work on fixing the problems there. Their countries will never improve as long as their people keep leaving and never returning. Instead, they take the easy way out by permanently moving to a First World country. It's really shameful that they do this.

Agree. Donald Trump's rhetoric is providing motivation to act for these mass shooters.

NO. It falls right in the lap of the guy who posts on Facebook about his vile hate for his "current annoyance" and then goes to great lengths to get enough guns, ammo and a full tank of gas and finds a very busy BIG BOX store on a Saturday filled with back to school shoppers.

There have always been mentally ill deranged shooters. Don't blame Trump.

You have Sandy Hook, Luby's, San Ysidro McDonalds, Aurora Movie Theater, Columbine, Austin Shooting, Fort Hood, Navy Yard and Virginia Tech. Trump was not around during any of these. Stop the blame!

Causes contributing factors of Mass Murder:

1. Higher accessibility and ownership of guns. The US has the highest per-capita gun ownership in the world with 120.5 firearms per 100 people; the second highest is Yemen with 52.8 firearms per 100 people. (I am pro gun for responsible gun owners).

2. Mental illness and its treatment (or the lack thereof) with psychiatric drugs. This is controversial. Many of the mass shooters in the U.S. suffered from mental illness, but the estimated number of mental illness cases has not increased as significantly as the number of mass shootings. Under 5% of violent behaviors in the U.S. are committed by persons with mental health diagnoses.

3. The desire to seek revenge for a long history of being bullied at school. In recent years, citizens calling themselves "targeted individual" have cited adult bullying campaigns as a reason for their deadly violence.

4. The widespread chronic gap between people's expectations for themselves and their actual achievement,[ and individualistic culture.

5. Desire for fame and notoriety. Also, mass shooters learn from one another through "media contagion," that is, "the mass media coverage of them and the proliferation of social media sites that tend to glorify the shooters and downplay the victims."

6. The copycat phenomenon.

7. Failure of government background checks due to incomplete databases and/or staff shortages.

El Paso Shooter Identified Online As a Trump Supporter Who Didn’t Like ‘Race Mixing’

Quote:
While officials did not immediately announce the identity of the shooter, the Washington Examiner reported that “A law enforcement source in El Paso told the Washington Examiner that 21-year-old suspect Patrick Crusius from Dallas, Texas, has been taken into custody.”

A manifesto purportedly written by Crusius, perhaps even in the hours before the shooting attack that according to one report left at least 15 people dead, was left behind. Pages of the manifesto included anti-immigrant rhetoric with the author going into depth on why he is “against race mixing,” supports the idea to “send them back” and offering a prediction of “genocide.”

So what about the Rachel Maddow watching liberal who shot Senator Scalise and other Republicans at the baseball game in DC.

By your own logic, Maddow and other liberals are responsible for what he did.

There's been numerous recent shootings by Democrats registered voters.

ALso, the shooter in this case was a registered Democrat. Probably hard to make the case he's a William Buckley / Rush Limbaugh conservative.

I called this years ago, I said more of these mass killings will happen because the media makes these people legends. They make their manifestos famous. These lonely troubled sick freaks are able to be known world wide thanks to the media. In NZ the prime minister banned the media from using the shooter’s name.
