Only you are responsible for your life. NO ONE ELSE.
Texas has (compared to other states) a lot of armed law biding citizens... Great. I supported conceal but not open.

It is also the state with 4 of the top 10 deadliest mass shootings. It isn't the solution for mass shooters.

But dozens of people in these forums have stated that school teachers should be armed and tasked with killing mass shooters who enter their classroom, so the CCW holders can run for cover and it's only teachers who are supposed to play Rambo? I find this very confusing...

Most good guys with guns do not harbor fantasies of playing Rambo in the midst of a mass shooting.

So the difference between gun free zones and non gun free zones is negligible then.

In one people don't have guns to shoot back and in the other "responsible" people won't shoot back. Well, in practicality, what the hell is the difference?

The manufacture is legal.

The sale is legal.

The advertising is legal.

Their lobbies are legal.

The profit is legal.

I know a good guy with lots of guns who is a teacher. He actually could be Rambo. Former military. Gun range one a month. I suspect he is carrying most of the time.

He strongly opposes teachers being armed. Their duty is to get their students to safety, not play Rambo.

Without anything identifying him as a good guy, he is as likely to get shot as he is to shoot someone.

False narrative...

No one is expecting any regulations to be 100% effective in eliminating a behavior or crime. If a person suggests limiting guns in some manner it doesn't equate to banning. The solution is usually a gray middle rather than black or white. This argument process can be pretty much used to argue for anarchy.

If folks are all safer if everyone is armed, why are firearms prohibited at NRA-ILA Leadership Forum?

"* PLEASE NOTE: Due to the attendance of the President of the United States at the NRA-ILA Leadership Forum on Friday, April 26, the U.S. Secret Service will be responsible for event security around the Arena at the Lucas Oil Stadium. As a result, firearms and firearm accessories, knives or weapons of any kind will be prohibited in the forum prior to and during his attendance. "

Seems like Trump would be safer if everyone was armed, him included.
