You mean like our Constitutional Freedoms and the 1st and 2nd amendments ?

We fight for those daily.

Which is why the media needs to stop naming the shooter. Stop giving notoriety to the criminals and maybe the narcissists will go find something more socially acceptable to become famous for? Their names should be erased from history, as if they never existed, instead we have our kids memorize the names of the EVIL while teaching them social studies.

Quick test, how many serial/mass murderers can you name? How many Nobel peace prize winners can you name? See which category wins and you have a glimpse of what our culture values.

Oh, and thoughts and prayers to the families of the El Paso and Dayton shootings. You can have those, but I will not be giving up any of my constitutional rights as a concession to mental illness and sociopathic behavior.

Because it's cultural.

You probably aren't aware of this, but some countries that allow alcohol have extremely high rates odmf alcoholism while other countries, that also allow alcohol, have much less rates of alcohol.

If your suggestion that access is the cause, every country where alcohol is legal would have the same rate of alcoholism.

Interestingly, it will be the second amendment that will eventually destroy our other rights under the constitution. We will give up our rights to free speech, privacy, protection from searches, etc... just to protect the gun manufacturers profits.

That lame excuse just sounds pathetically sad at this point.

More people were killed in mass shootings in the last 24 hours than in 2017 and 2018 in Afghanistan.

The US is 'exceptional' alright. Exceptionally violent. Sign up to join the military and go war--you'll be safer.
