Being a “leftist” does not rule out being a racist. I really do not care about political motives. I don’t have any way of knowing what the Dayton’s shooter motive was, but to rule out racism, as has been suggested by investigators, makes no sense to me. The reason given is that thirty seconds is not enough time to discriminate in an act like this. Yep, that is actually what they said. So a persons mind can’t think that fast? In my opinion thirty seconds is more than enough time to be discriminative...especially if you don’t know that all you have is 30 seconds. Furthermore, when people are forced to act quickly and instinctively....that is when subconscious racism comes out. There is not enough time to consciously process your acts for political correctness. However, we are talking split second decisions....not 30 seconds.

I am not saying race was the motive.....I am saying they seem to be to quickly taking it off the table, but also saying they don’t know what it was....but they know what it was not. Again, there seems to be a movement to dismiss anyone or any act from being “racist”, at least as it relates to blacks.

Sounds like Trump will announce some anti-gun measures at 10AM, although it sounds like he it trying to sneak it into an immigration bill which sounds like a bad joke.

Just read one report which said the first victims were his younger sister and a man sitting in a parked car. So not totally unknown strangers.

You know what I noticed. When I watched and listened to the news media at both crime scenes when the police said they knew the identity of the killers, none of them asked the law enforcement types whether the killers lived alone. Judging by the size of the house one of them lived in (El Paso killer I think), he did not live alone. Maybe I just missed it but if you are hearing for the first time (Dayton) that the guy killed his sister, wouldn't you want to know if he lived in the same home with her? I know they came to the crime scene together (plus boyfriend) but that doesn't mean he lived with her. I think that the Dayton crime presser was interesting because the law enforcement guy in charge announced the race of each of the deceased victims (black and white) like he was trying to lead them to think it probably wasn't a hate crime without actually saying it and one reporter actually asked why the police guy in charge was mentioning the race of each of the decease when he named the dead victims.

But I still didn't get why a basic question, like "Did he live alone?" or "Who did he live with?" wasn't asked at the get-go at each crime scene? The police didn't have to name the people, just say something like "He lived with his parents and two siblings" or "He lived with 3 roommates."

Yup Look at how fast the usual suspects who wanted to blame this on Trump have departed from talking about it. And of course the MSM is absolutely silent about it.

Registered as a "Democrat". Hmmm.

Surely the Fake News don't like that.

I'll be interested to see what his motive was. I'm guessing it had to do with his sister.
