Mass shooters are America's version of suicide bombers, many driven by ideology and leaving manifestos, intending to kill as many people at random as they can before they are stopped. So the question refocuses not to simply "What doe we need to do about gun control?", but "What can we do in the United States to stop our home grown terrorists before they have a chance to act out?", with gun control still being a major topic of discussion.

What sort of mental health program would have foretold this shooter's possible intentions and called attention to his problems, if you believe this is a mental health issue?

As it should be, now that we have a FBI that follows the law rather then the example
that Barry Soroto A.K.A Barack Hussein Obama who refused to condemn the Ft. Hood killer
as an Islamic terrorist.

Gun Control ? the only form of gun control that works is taking aim before pulling the trigger.

People wanting attention and using an excuse for their actions is the issue here, they are
not like the " Religious " terrorist who's entire life is based on the extermination of non believers
of their chosen faith.

Mental Programs ? usually and sadly it's to late by the time this happens, promoting the
use of the Death Penalty might detour a few

Im pretty sure, the British monarchy at the time, viewed it as 'domestic terrorism'!!
Depends on which side of the table you occupy, huh...?

The Revolution was fought as a response to being governed and taxed with no representation. It was entirely necessary for the colonists to declare themselves free in order to establish a representative governnment. We will ignore for the moment the morality and ethics of killing Indians to steal their land.

We are in the United States, and our citizens are being attacked at random. There is no difference whatsover between these mass shootings and suicide bombers wearing vests of dynamite. They are terrorists in the truest sense of the word, killing innocents to gain attention for their ideological views. This is not being done because of an unresponsive government. Indeed, many are implicating Trump as the instigator of the attack in El Paso, which would come under the heading of "High Crimes and Misdemeanors".

If it was an Arabic suicide bomber, you would be screaming "terrorism' form the rooftops. The only difference is, this one was white and a White Nationalist (read: Nazi) inspired to action by Trump's racism and xenophobia.

There are mass shootings every single day in Chicago and Baltimore. Not just over the past 24-30 hours, but every single day. Where is your outrage?

What about Deep State/ Shadow Government domestic terrorism? They're among the ones who don't want citizens to have guns. Isn't that playing right into their hands?

What sources are you using for this statement? I'd like to compare them to mine, which mention skirmishes, usually boundary disputes, but not anywhere any sort of widespread wars with massive loss of life. On the contrary, most of the tribes were quite civilized and had division of labor, dedicated buildings for community food storage and religious practice, and entertained strangers lavishly. I have read the eyewitness accounts of every known colonizer and explorer here since Ponce de Leon arrived in what is now Florida in 1513, and de Ayllon came to the coast of South Carolina carrying black slaves to perform the labor of building a colony in 1526.

If you have new sources, I'm dying to see them.

These inner-city murder zones are domestic terrorism hot spots as well. Don't forget to report on those too!
This wasn't about race. Why are you bringing it up? Feeling guilty...?

Domestic terrorism is real, and one of them just claimed universal healthcare and universal basic income as a couple of his political demands.

Domestic terrorism has been real for a long time. Astonishing that OKC bombing 150+ dead wasn't the wake up call.

Start another thread on Chicago and Baltimore. I'm talking about the past day in El Paso and Dayton. And I am indeed outraged when the president of the United States gets up in front of crowds and foments his hateful racist rhetoric. Or tweets ridiculousness like telling Americans to go back to the countries they came from. When in the hell did we ever sink to such a level? It's beyond reprehensible.
