Mass shooters are America's version of suicide bombers, many driven by ideology and leaving manifestos, intending to kill as many people at random as they can before they are stopped. So the question refocuses not to simply "What doe we need to do about gun control?", but "What can we do in the United States to stop our home grown terrorists before they have a chance to act out?", with gun control still being a major topic of discussion.

What sort of mental health program would have foretold this shooter's possible intentions and called attention to his problems, if you believe this is a mental health issue?

It sure is real. Domestic terrorism has been going on for years. This is sadly nothing new. It's been going on for 150+ years.

What about all of the tens of thousands of inner-city shootings by black males the media refuses to fixate on? Are you outraged by these tens of thousands of shooting in cities across American every year?

These inner-city murder zones are domestic terrorism hot spots as well. Don't forget to report on those too!

Yes it has. But I don't know of any past president who has gotten up at rallies and or tweeted hateful racist rhetoric regarding certain races of people. That's a first for me.

You want to talk about inner city violence, go start a thread about that. Quit trying to deflect from the subject of this thread.

We're talking about the increase of white nationalist domestic terrorism right now. We have enough to discuss just to get through the past 24-30 hours.

The Revolutionary War that you are discussing unofficially began with the Boston Massacre in 1770, when British troops fired on unarmed civilians. 1776 was anticlimax.
They were conditioned for it since that's exactly what many tribes had been doing to each other since they settled on the future continental 48.

If you've been preparing a book for 25 years, you're probably not qualified to write it.

Perhaps not. My point was that it is only now that we're beginning to call it domestic terrorism.

If you are going to extrapolate from a particular shooting to make a narrative, expect people to do the same from other particular shootings.

Sorry.

Shootings are shootings. The fact is that black inner-city males murder exponentially more Americans than "white nationalists" every single year. Where is your outrage over these facts? Where is the media's outrage? Or does it just not fit the narrative/agenda properly?
