Still smarting over Hillary losing...right?

I have a feeling if the election results were reversed and Hillary got the most electoral college votes and Trump won the popular vote you would be praising the electoral college and forethought of the founding fathers....

Isn't it time to quit blaming the tool, and go back to the idea of blaming the user of the tool?
If the user of a hammer smashes his thumb, is it the hammer's fault, or the fault of the clumsy oaf that smacked himself?

It seems strange to me that when a drunk or distracted vehicle driver kills somebody, the vehicle is never blamed.
Yet, when somebody is shot, it is the fault of the gun, not the shooter.
There are literally millions of guns, of every type from muzzle loaders to fully automatic (for those who jumped through the hoops and got the license) in the hands of civilians. Better than 99% of those guns have never killed any human being.

IMO, it is time to lay the blame where it belongs: On the mentally ill person, and on the Federal, State, and Local agencies that allowed such a person to remain untreated intil he/she lost control.
It is NOT the fault of the tool!

Exactly!!

This is the only thing to prevent all out tyranny, all these mass shootings we are seeing, are an attempt to change public opinion on guns, so the public will disarm itself by choice, its a very clever deception.

That is the view of more liberal Justices, it's certainly not the view of the entire court.
It keeps flip flopping on every issue, mainly due to the politiocal nature of appointments.

Abortion may be the next big u-turn after Trump's Appointments.

As for the Constitution it's been Ammended and revised numerous times in relation to numerous issues.

The founders that created the electoral college would likely never have envisioned that a person that came in second nearly three million votes behind the leader, could ever become POTUS. I am pretty confident they would not be happy with their system if they knew that could happen. Even more unhappy if they knew the will of the people was ignored twice in five straight presidential elections.

You are WRONG. The EC worked exactly how the Founders intended and wanted. The number of votes doesn't matter. We have over 330,000,000 people in this country now, not the small number we had when the Constitution was drafted.

Also, they'd be disgusted by the 22,000 illegal laws restricting guns only from the law abiding, and violating the Constitution. You're delusional.

The FF could envision a state or states so populous that they could control elections and totally ignore the will of the rest of the states. I know this is a leftist wet dream, but the FF were not about to be subjugated to a king, a government, or any entity of collective power. They value the individual. The left does not.

The amendment is right. (Some) of the people are wrong. Fix the people, don’t mess with something that is right and always has been.
