There seems to be a lot of kids committing these crimes. I'm 61 and not pissed off at the world. How pissed off at the world can you be at 21?

It all boils down to two facts that gun control proponents
have not been able to address:

(1) There is a direct relationship between restrictive gun control laws and increased crime. Almost all gun control laws have been statistically proven to be linked to increases in crime.

(2) Criminals by definition do not obey the law. Using a firearm to harm another is already illegal.
Proponents might want to spend more time thinking about the facts, and less time writing about feelings that won't fix the problem.

In the end, the only form of gun control that works is taking aim before pulling the trigger.

It's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Thatís the $100,000 question. I wonder this myself.

Young men arenít the same now as they were when I was a teen in the 80ís. Itís downright weird to see so many late teens and early 20ís men who are unemployed, live at home, and spend all day gaming. I have a couple girlfriends with teenaged sons and itís odd how common these kids are: they donít drive or own cars, or even hold part time jobs. School seems to be almost too much for them. When I was a sophomore in high school back in Ď85, you NEVER met a 16 year-old who didnít have a car and a part-time job. Teens seemed so much more mature back then.

I submit that weíve smothered our kids to death. They arenít maturing and taking on responsibility as they once did. When you go to school and hold a part-time job you have a LOT less time to sit around on your butt playing shooter games and being depressed over the same teen angst humans have suffered from forever.

Our worldview wasnít shaped by social media distortion or framed by a global recession and increasingly toxic political environment.

You get some of these young guys getting all riled up by these factors, stewing in garbage sites like 8chan and they can just waltz right into store, buy an AR-15, a few dozen 20-30 rd mags, a can of ammo and bam- you got yourself a homicidal maniac.

The largest mass shooting in American history was committed by a 64 year old man.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Las_Vegas_shooting

According to this study, the median age of mass shooters is 35. That's not that young.

Not a gun-owner, but we are in need of changing some of many laws on both the state- and federal-levels. Now how we make it so that those laws are not too vague or too specific is a valid concern.
