I have a serious question.

Why, when these mass shooters come armed with enough gun power and ammunition to take out hundreds of people (and there were apparently plenty of them there to be taken out in the El Paso Walmart as well as other places) do 'only' a dozen or so ever get killed?

My sentiments too. Just two responses after the above, we have the below. Anyone think there would be responses like this if the terrorists were Muslim?

One has to pass a background check to apply for a purchase permit (or have a CPL) , then another background check at the time of purchase, then the handgun is registered with the MSP. Maybe another law or restriction might help ?

Either the shooter commits suicide and/or a good guy with a gun shows up.

You start to taking em away from people who don't have License, Insurance and Registration. Not expecting 100% results. 30% reduction over 20 years would be a lot better than where we are. Long term...slow and steady wins the race.

Also it is true that people love there guns more than fellow citizen.

What is encouraging is the naming of the issue, white nationalism/terrorism/supremacy. You even got some on the right finally naming the problem.
Exactly. That's why we accept less than 100% results and be happy to get 'em.

White supremacy ideology is considered evil in today's society. Because it is evil. Go figure.

Not in the El Paso case; he surrendered peacefully after killing 'just' 20 when he came prepared to kill many hundreds.

The "IRON PIPELINE" is the answer to your question of felons with guns. Google it. I never got any love from gun owners on this forum for threads about it.

The fact is that the guy was a self-admitted white nationalist, who it appears traveled out of his way to kill more Hispanics. The only agenda here is the OP trying to create a straw-man naritive about the left that JUST ISN'T SO. The guy was a domestic terrorist. Why are you defending him?

And Chicago has it's own problems, which are clearly reported regularly. They need to be addressed as well, but they don't negate the problem of having a racist POTUS who stirs up white nationalist sentiment, and legitimizes it, giving cover to people like you for posting spew like this^.

I totally agree.

It doesn't matter what race, or ideology they would belong to, more laws won't do a thing. Not sure what you were trying to imply there.
