For oh so long, America has been so focused on Black people:
Black = affirmative action
Black = welfare
Black = gangs, drugs and violence
Black = teen pregnancies, unwed mothers, high birth rate
Black = inner city, urban decline, crime....
However, America is very quickly becoming "brown" and the issues that go along with the "browning" of America have just recently started to slowly drip into the consciousness of White America. And the gov't stats show that all of the issues that are listed above regarding "Blacks" are much more attributed to "Browns"....
So why is White America still focused on the Blacks and not the Browns? The Black population has never been(and will never be like the population that is to come with Hispanics) And White America is in for a big shock.
What's up with this "Brown" stuff? Why does it seem that people are suddenly trying to "create" a third race in this country? Also, when you use the term "brown" who are you really referring to? Black people come in every shade of "brown" and skin color. Almost all Hispanics, with the exception of darker tone Puerto Ricans have white skin and are genetically "White". This is especially true for Mexicans. I guess my point is that black people are already "brown".

I've read postings where you have taken a look at WW II and basically understood history from a different perspective. When I was looking over the "World" Forum I saw a posting (thread titled "How Safe is Japan", posting #10) where you mentioned that:
Japan is an example of why diversity isn't exactly great.
The Japanese value their race, culture, and homogeneous population.
And in doing so they've built a successful, first-world nation-state with a great educational and welfare system. (Socialist Scandinavia is another example similar to Japan... except that their crime rate has been rising due to the importation of a 'foreign element').
Europe, the U.S, and other countries should take a hint from Japan.
So, based upon where we are today as a nation, you specifically suggest we do what?
Black = Blues, jazz, spirituals, and the birth of rock n' roll.
Black = great writers like the Harlem Renaissance, Langston Hughes, Zora Neale Hurston, James Baldwin.
Black = great American patriots like the famed Tuskegee Airmen of WWII.
Black = great athletes like Jackie Robinson and Wilt the Stilt Chamberlain.
Black = great intellectuals and orators like Frederick Douglass, WEB duBois, and Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

"I" don't disagree with this, however when a great number of Americans think of Blacks...those wonderful things are not what come to mind.
I believe that for an extremely long time Americans have used Black Americans as a fail-safe scapegoat for all of its problems. There is a huge shift that I believe has been overlooked until the very recent past.
Why is every "race" conversation on this board about "Black" and "White"? It nigates the soon to be largest minority group in the country.
