Trump, his friends, and Republican colleagues made it a major talking point about how America looks on the international scene.

They complained, whined, said Obama is making the States a joke.

He vowed to change it....

Now, it's never been worse. He is a worldwide laughing stock and nightmare.

Are there any Republicans who still stick to Trump's talking points... or now that he's won, who cares?

Trump also blasted Obama, saying he has responsibility for all states.

Now Trump is distancing himself from States that aren't performing.

I'm concerned about getting leaders that make good decisions and are less concerned about delivering candy for other countries. I would hope that our leaders would seek to have good relations with other nations with an understanding of the fact they are out for themselves or their country's interest.

He is not a laughingstock, but probably a nightmare since the financial gravy train has stopped.

I really don’t care what the world thinks of us.

Any voter will care as much about our image as their chosen party says they should, and I don’t care if it’s demican or republicrat. They are both most adept at making asses of themselves.

They don’t care or are super ignorant because the world is laughing at America. A recent vacation to Europe and Norway, Sweden and Finland was painful being an American. Such a shame to travel as an American these days.

Who cares what they think?

Have they been in America for the last 30 years while politicians from both sides sold our workforce out to foreign governments and depleted our manufacturing base, wreaking havoc on the middle class?

No.

Interesting. That’s always been a Dem talking point. It still has to sink in that Trump is the one saying this.

How do you reconcile “laughing stock” and “nightmare”?

They can laugh. About all they can do especially since Trump throttled the NATO money.
