Is it just my imagination, or has Trump started to feel the pressure of not living up to the greatness of his office in the same way that Obama did? I mean, Obama was widely recognized as being this top-tier orator, renowned constitutional law expert, and internationally respected head-of-state.

Contrast that with Trump, who is viewed (even by his own colleagues) as a narcissistic business man of dubious ethics, with a penchant for racial demagoguery and a gross disposition toward females.

Lately it seems Trump can't stop talking about Obama-- Obama this, Obama that, Oh I'm so much better than Obama.... What started out as a simple rhetorical device for winning the support of white supremacists seems to have become full-time obsession for the President, am I wrong? Has there ever been another president in our history who spent so much time bad mouthing his predecessor?

Obama went after him in the correspondents dinner and now, like a true clinical narcissist that he is, he will not be satisfied until all his rage is satisfied.

And he also defeated Obama’s appointed successor and his dismantling his terrible policies so Trump has already won

for re-election purposes, Obama is his only target until the D's get serious.
last time, he targeted Clinton, but, of course, so did Sanders and Warren.

He's been bad mouthing Obama since Obama came on the scene. Birtherism, etc. Because Trump's not racist.

I sense a crack in Trump's plastic gold clad armor lately. More and more of my main street republican friends (read...normal people who just happen to be conservative) are horrified by his continued divisiveness and loud mouthed, arrogant braggadocio.

You are 100% correct.

President Obama doesn't need to pay off porn stars.
He doesn't associate with pedophiles and treasonous traitors.
President Obama doesn't have his former campaign officials charged.
He won via popular vote AND electoral basically without the help of Wikileaks and Russia.
His approval rating low is higher than Trump's highest approval rating.
He won a Noble Peace Prize. Trump had to bribe foreign officials to nominate him for awards.
Trump isn't popular. His birthism con didn't plan out.
Trump has scammed folks including college student and charities. He inherited a good economy from Obama.
Trump can't come up with a decent healthcare or immigration plan.
Trump's presidency is a failure just like many of his scams and business.
The list goes on and on.

OP, you hit it spot on.

You realize Trump already won eight? Obama’s presidency is being tossed into the gutter

And that is the point of Trumps obsession with Obama. he dismantles ANYTHING Obama did not matter whether it made sense or not. Case in point access to guns by those with mental illness. After this week Trump is now talking about a control on this matter when he previously dismantled Obama's. Iraq is another example. He had no alternative solution and noe hes stuck. Most likely he will forge a new agreement that looks the same as the old one he ripped up. But he will call it a win. Just like his new Nafta.

Eight what? Lawsuits filed against him?

I'm in a thread talking about it. Trump's in the gutter. And Obama is a private citizen.
