we have taken god out of society, made abortion not only legal, but now are suggesting going with post birth abortions as well, actually infanticide. we toss away old people like they are yesterdays newspaper, and when we look down both sides of the isle, we see pure hatred from each side, and no one wants to work with the other side.

and it never fails that somehow people think that if we get rid of all the guns, that the mass killings will end. and that is far from the truth. remember timothy mcvay didnt need a gun to kill 168 people. and the 9/11 terrorists did not need a gun to kill 3000 people.

until we get rid of the hate in this world, and start to respect EVERYONE, the killing will never stop.
^^^ This ... we reap that which we sow; in sowing bad seeds this is the end result.

enjoy ...

Other developed countries do not have the human rights issues, this one has ... this might possibly be the last liberty u.s. citizens have and they are trying to hold on to it. It's a shame, they didn't try that hard to hang onto the other ones.

Let's not even try
Perhaps we should give up on cures for fatal diseases too, by that thinking- I mean we're gonna die anyway...

With gun laws, just like many other laws, people just do not feel the need to obey them.
I will give two short examples of people not obeying the written law.
In a park I take my dog too every day, two sections of the curb are painted red, with signs stating, "no parking anytime".
I have never seen one of the vehicles ticketed for parking in the red, and daily I see at least five or six vehicles parked there.
Second example.
Scattered through out this park are signs saying, "dogs must be on leash at all times.

I see tons of people letting their dogs off leash, completely disregarding the posted signs, and the law.

Enforcement is the problem, as well as the people who feel the laws do not apply to them.

I say hit them , not only in the wallet, but in the case of the people parking in the red, suspend their driver's license foe a period of one year.

As for the gun laws we already have, enforcing them would be a good start.

Bob.

If you look at the issue of violence, and particularly murder, in totality, the solution is fairly straightforward. Identify those with violent tendencies, and when the commit lesser crimes, lock them up for a long time. In point of fact, we've now been doing this for a while (since 1994), and it's worked spectacularly. We need to tighten up the statistical analysis so that we don't have to lock up quite as many people to achieve the same, or even better results.

However, we've been going the other way. In the name of ending "mass incarceration" of minorities, we've been letting out people who should be kept in. And the results are visible. After years of decreasing more rate, they are now trending upward. See below.

The left better get it through their heads that guns aren't going anywhere. Period. We won't willingly give them up, and you certainly aren't taking them from us.

Once you guys get that through your skulls, then maybe we can make some progress on this issue...

Why are people so angry? Why do they keep getting more angry? Should they be angry? Are you angry?

Feel it's a balance of improving mental health care in the U.S. and reforming firearm regulations.

Feel for one need a Department of Mental Health and Addiction

Need to increase Federal funds and grants to non profit psychiatric and social service facilities

Legalize marijuana

Decriminalize possession of illicit substances. With various grams for each substances.

$10,000 emergency healthcare voucher to be utilized at a hospital facility. Temporary health insurance for those without insurance admitted impatient. Covers up to 80% of care and rest out of pocket. Also generic medications are covered for those without insurance. Must apply for a medication ID Card at the hospital or pharmacy.

Temporary 100% universal health insurance for those that are homeless or unemployed for 2 year's.

Work with insurance companies to cover mental health care as health care. Can't deny coverage for those seeking inpatient hospitalization at a public/non-profit facility for mental health and addiction services. Can't deny coverage for those recommend to continue care at an outpatient therapy location.

Increase funding to schools for mental health, addiction, and social services.

Increase funding for supervised apartments for those in need of long term psychiatric care. Increase funding to improve State run facilities and increase regulations on quality of care (staffing ratios).

Increase funding to State's for projects to work towards reducing homelessness in their State.

National firearm license. Initial start up have 24 months to register. After 24 months have to temporary license. If no temp. license and found in the possession of firearms an individual will be fined. Second offense no license firearms will be seized for six months and fined again. Third offense firearms will be seized and 12 months in jail.

End gunshow loopholes.

6 month waiting period to purchase firearms for those released from an inpatient psychiatric facility. Also 6 months to have firearms held by law enforcement after an individual is released from an inpatient psychiatric facility. If individual is found with firearms weapons would be seized and held by law enforcement till six month period ends.

Those who have been released from prison and completed probation would have firearm license reinstated or be eligible to apply for a firearm license

6 month waiting period for those after a restraining order has cleared for those who have one against them to purchase and be in possession of firearms.

National firearms dealer license. Those that deal firearms without license if convicted could face up to two year's in jail without probation to 10 year's max.

Dealers with licenses found dealing under the table or selling to individuals with no license can risk up to six month suspension for first offense, 12 month suspension for 2nd offense, and indefinite suspension for third offense.

No age limit for firearms license. Under 18 have to have a parent co-sign firearm license application.

Increase funding to law enforcement agencies supporting community policing and mental health units/training.

Any threats sugessting use of firearm against person or place still requires a warrant of search of person, place, or property. With the social media clause any post that identify an immediate threat to person or place. Post are viewable to public not set to private police can search person and place due to immediate threat.

Any individual in public who makes a threat police can obtain information of individual and search person. However, must obtain warrant to search person again or property of person. I wouldn't doubt that the liberal party sets these mass shootings up to be honest. String some kid out on drugs "here take this gun and go to your school", then they invest heavily in gun manufacturer stocks prior to the shooting event, use it to push their anti-gun agenda, and rake in a bunch of cash.
