The problem with your reasoning is, the provision of the right exists because of its purpose to exist. The provision does not exist without a reason. Back to your own analogy, if there were no reason to have a fit and healthy population as part of the well-being of a free state, there would be no need to guarantee the people the right to inexpensive healthy food. You are assuming the right to inexpensive healthy food can exist in isolation without reason, which is erroneous. If there is no reason for something to exist ... well, there is no reason for it to exist, and its existence becomes optional.

Ah, but you really don't know that, now do you? What kind of low life gloats over increased gun sales a mere 3 days after two horrible mass shootings?

When I was in my twenties I was married to an outdoorsmen who had any number of guns that he responsibly kept locked in a gun cabinet when not in use. Almost everyone we knew was a gun enthusiast as well. My Dad was career military and one of the best marksman that I have ever seen. When he passed, I inherited his officer's Colt - a truly sweet weapon. So, I know quite a bit about America's gun culture and the second amendment.

But then Columbine happened and bump stocks and semi-automatics gained in popularity. Where others see the slaughter of innocents, you and the NRA see dollar signs. You may not admit it, but all the Second Amendment means to people like you is profits.

No rational person believes that a relatively small group of people can form up a posse commitas to overthrow a tyrannical government. Even with all the AK47's that a person can carry, all it takes is a single tank and the wind will carry away the vaporized body parts with the remains of your AK47 scattered in bits on the ground. And today's US Army fighting machine has thousands of other powerful weapons at its disposal - things that a civilian can only dream of getting his hands on. Let's get real here.

Of course, you don't want to get real because that might eat into your profits. Plus, the right wing is not interested in protecting our country. If you guys actually practice what you preach, then where was your outrage and your weaponry when it came to light that a country which is a longtime adversary of the US was found to be meddling in our country's presidential elections? You buy the lies of Putin and Trump indiscriminately. My coonhound is better protection than this country's gun nuts.

One statistic that I would like to know is what percent of all you gun huggers and profiteers from the death of innocents ever served our country in one of the branches of our Armed Services? Or did you all suffer from bone spurs like the greatest coward who ever became the president of our country?

At least you were honest in your OP. Gun violence brings profit and if half of America doesn't bow down and worship at the altar of the almighty dollar then too bad for us and too bad for our children.

I remember when "libs" were trying to get seat belt laws passed and conservatives were throwing a fit about it. I remember when Ralph Nadar was promoting legislation for vehicle safety laws and conservatives considered him the devil incarnate. Ironically, all these laws and legislation reduced traffic deaths.

And the swimming pool thing is even more ridiculous. We don't have an epidemic of people running around drowning people in swimming pools. When's the last time there was a headline that said "22 people killed in mass drowning?"
Pretty sure you are misrepresenting conservative views like you always do. It is funny how you put libs in quotes as though there are no liberals.

I don't think any conservative cared about Ralph Nadar if they even knew who he is. He was never an electable candidate. Your own party didn't like him.

Nobody is saying guns are not dangerous. That's a silly assertion. Literally all you do on here is debate strawman arguments you constructed.

Brain dead leftists miss the point that it is their own authoritarian tendencies that drive people to buy more guns and renew their NRA memberships.

Leftists saying people should be eradicated from society, stabbed in the heart, or subjected to physical harassment and worse. You are the driver for gun sales. And you want to confiscate guns??? LOLGF!

Dream on. We have a Constitution to protect us from fascists (liberals), so despite the heartfelt desires of every lib to limit the rights of everyone in the nation, they cannot do so. This is why libs hate the Constitution, as it is an impediment to their totalitarian goals.

T-310 is a gun dealer, so he makes a profit by gun sales. Why do you think this is so terrible? Do you hate auto dealers? Knife dealers? How about the people who make milkshakes that liberals throw on people?

Liberals and liberal politicians encourage violence against conservatives as a matter of course. So when violence occurs, why are you surprised? Perhaps libs should clean up their own act and stop fomenting violence and committing assault against everyone they disagree with. That would be a great start.

Remember, it was dems who were burning down buildings in the 60s and setting off bombs. It was dems who used dogs and water cannon against civil rights marchers. It was dems who imprisoned Japanese Americans in WW2. It was dems who used lynching as a means of "justice". It was dems who had many politicians in the the KKK. Dems now have ANTIFA and BLM as "shock troops" to commit acts of political violence.
Wasn't it a DEM who said, "NEVER let a tragedy go to waste!"

Yet you have NOT said a word about the dems running for office asking for donations to their campaigns.

WHY?

Cars and swimming pools dont generally have the capacity to take out dozens of innocent people in 30 seconds.

Plus, you have to consider how many ILLEGAL firearms are flooding into the US every year!!

Hint...the same guys who smuggle in all the street drugs, are also smuggling in firearms, to sell thru out the US, those guys dont do any background or records checks, its cash and carry.

I remember years ago when I was using dope everyday, the 10-12 dealers I knew, they also sold firearms, pretty much anything you wanted, they could get.
