There are dozens of everyday things that are taken for granted which account for far more deaths on an annual basis which the anti gun crowd conveniently ignore. None of them are protected by a Constitutional amendment, yet the one single thing that the anti gun crowd focuses on is the one that is protected. If it were really about the deaths, the anti gun crowd would be going after those other things before they’d be worrying about one of the least used tools of violent people (rifles in general account for a minuscule amount of murder weapons in general, with so-called assault rifles accounting for even less).

Mass shootings are terrorist attacks. Plain and simple. The entire purpose of them is to terrorize communities and thereby become known. It amazes me that any American is willing to be so manipulated by terrorists that they are willing to undermine the very foundation of our nation, and to do so illegally. Typically the same crowd that tries to restrict firearms by end running the Constitution is the group that lost their minds over the Iraq war because “Iraq didn’t have anything to do with 9/11.” Yet, they are so locked in on guns being the issue that they refuse to even consider the arguments of the people who are knowledgeable about firearms and have actually looked at the statistics which show gun bans, background checks, and gun free zones don’t stop mass shooters.

Even more boggling is that the anti gun group generally supports the party that is responsible for the majority of violence in our nation’s history. The Civil War, the Jim Crow era, Japanese internment camps, all were brought to us by Democrats - the same party that supports unconstitutional infringements of the 2nd Amendment. Utterly amazing.
In other words what your saying is that it's vitally important that Americans learn to accept that senseless shootings must be routinely accepted as a normal part of our culture much as we accept there must be 40,000 people killed in car accidents every year, since we want to keep our cars. To do anything to stop or discourage mass shootings that would infringe upon the 2nd Amendment is absolutely unacceptable.

Well, with that crappy trigger it's actually a bit slower

To do anything that restricts any of the rights protected by the Constitution is unacceptable. Plain and simple.

However, that's not what I said in my post.

What I said in my post is that Progessive policies are what brought us to this point, so letting Progressives decide how to fix it would be stupid. Not a single one of the Progressive ideas on gun control has worked. Not one. Why should we let the bad ideas continue?

Then we'll see if states loosening gun control laws that many 2nd Amendment supporters strongly support causes gun caused deaths to go down, instead of up. Who needs regulations like training or a license to buy a gun?

As I’ve said before, you don’t license a right.

So more and more guns is the only good, constitutional answer to more and more mass shootings as well as suicides?

Suicides? The method matters very little to a determined person.

Gun bans don’t work.

just hope everyone who purchased a firearm also casts a vote!

there is some trolling or true idiocy appearing, where a poster claims they will not vote for Trump because of Trump looking at tightening some gun laws.

Can it be possible that out of spite, some people will help elect a socialist to shepherd in their idea of gun control and creation of instant felons, rather than elect Trump??????????

that amounts to sacrificing the nations gun owners and 2nd amendment supporting non gun owners for pure self destructive spite.

If someone passes a bgc and legally buys a firearm there isn't much more we can legally do. If they want to end their own life with it I could care less. They are going to do it anyway whether it's booze and pills or a bullet.
