So, Norway is banning fossil fuel powered cars in country while continuing to export fossil fuels to the rest of the world They are engaging in a "feel good" move that actually does nothing on the grand scheme of things (I don't support the move, by the way . . . just calling out the hypocrisy). Get back to me when Norway decides to ban fossil fuel exports, too!

Norway poised to ban all fossil-fuel-powered cars by 2025!

So if a Norwegian city is powered from one or more oil-burning or coal-burning power plants, no one is allowed to plug in their electric car to charge it in that city?

Never happen here.
Of course it will. It will just take us longer and be more expensive as we try to catch up with the rest of the world.

You seriously believe that when other countries have mostly switched over to clean energy, the US will be trudging along with dirty gasoline vehicles? I was in some European cities this year and it is amazing to sit outside at cafes in a city with many cars and busy traffic and not be breathing large black fumes of car exhaust. They are already half way there.

The Trump generation will be gone. The next generation wants clean energy and cares a great deal about the environment.

I haven’t seen black exhaust fumes from cars for 30 years in the US. Where are you seeing that?

Yes and relative to their population one of the top five producers. Unlike Venezuela they have managed their oil wealth quite well for the general population. Now if they really wanted to impress the world stop producing oil, of course without the wealth generation it throws a giant monkey wrench into any plans of removing fossil fuels from the energy mix.

I guess not being in the EU, and having the US to rely on for defense has its benefits?

Oh yea, white, majority white, and pretty much a mono-culture, and they got damn strict immigration enforcement there.

So hell yea, let's be like them, lol.

Because it is tiny country with about as many people as South Carolina, about 5.3 million.

Apples and oranges to the US.

There is already a tax credit up to $7.5K federally plus whatever a state may offer.
