Presumably the next step is a Red Flag Law for cutlery so if you cut your grass too early in the morning your neighbor will complain and the cops will kick your door in to confiscate your butter knives.

i remember saying just a couple of years ago on this very forum, that after guns were heavily restricted, that knives were next, and i was excoriated. well seems i right about this.
