It's the natural order of everything, from apples to stars, to our bodies, to cultures and civilizations, to decay. No civilization in the history of mankind has had such material wealth as ours and with each passing year, we become more unhappy and lonely.

It turned out that doing whatever you want, so long as it doesn't "hurt anyone else," wasn't a recipe for social stability, nor individual contentedness.

It will continue to grow worse.
