Let the brainwashing continue.
The news stories I've read say that he was an off-duty firefighter.

The Springfield Police Department arrived on scene within three minutes of the call. Police stated that a young white male, appearing to be in his twenties, pulled up to the Walmart, where he donned body armor and military fatigues. Police say the man had tactical weapons.

Police then say the man walked into the Walmart: Neighborhood Market where he grabbed a cart and began pushing it around the store. Police say the man was recording himself walking through the store via a cell phone.

The store manager at the Neighborhood Market pulled a fire alarm, urging people to escape the store.

Police say the man then made his way out an emergency exit where a former firefighter held the man at gunpoint. At that moment Springfield Police arrived on scene and detained the man.

The Springfield Police Department could not confirm the nature of statements said by the man to those inside of the Walmart, but they do confirm that the man had loaded weapons, and over one hundred rounds of ammunition.
The man broke no laws.

See, that is the problem with some of these gun hugging idiots, they can not be REASONABLE with their ability to carry. It is one thing to have a 9MM discretely tucked in a holster, but it is a whole nuther animal to walk around with an AK slung over your back. These people want to rub their "freedom" to carry in everyone's face, and what they are going to do is have it backfire, and those weapons will be banned sooner or later.

The guys that do this stuff need to talk to a shrink, because I think they have some serious shrinkage going on.
Pretty much... if it walks like a duck...……...

The guy at Springfield was stupid, but what law did he break?

You can legally open carry a rifle in Missouri.
You can legally open carry a handgun.
You can legally wear body armor.
You can legally carry ammunition.
Walmarts do not prohibit open carry in Missouri.
He threatened no one.
He had left the store when he was arrested.

He's been charged with making a terroristic threat.

From heavy.com:

According to Missouri law, making a terroristic threat is committing “the offense of making a terrorist threat in the second degree if he or she recklessly disregards the risk of causing the evacuation, quarantine or closure of any portion of a building, inhabitable structure, place of assembly or facility of transportation and knowingly.”

What the hell is Moscow Mitch about? I’ve seen that a couple of times now and I haven’t looked into it yet.

This is a story of a good guy with a gun stopping a mass shooting. Has nothing to do with Trump or Mitch McConnell. In fact, it completely goes against the narrative y’all are pushing, so I guess you have to deflect.
